I just want to know whether the Kaspersky Anti Virus is free for home users or just for a trial period of 30 days. If it is free which of the three versions viz.,kaspersky personal security suite or the kaspersky personal or the kaspersky personal pro is available for free download.

digit screws up sometimes, btw if you are looking for free antivirii, check out AVG, avast! and antivir, and NOD32, it is one of the best

Avast & AVG are good free anti-virus solutions.
NOD32 is good too, but its not free ! however, they are presently testing out NOD32 BETA which is hence free currnetly. :)

kaspersky is not free. its a trial version. but it has the best detection rates(my personal opinion). but

it takes one hell of ur memory(lots and lots of ram)
nod32 is the best combining the memory and detection of viruses

use avast or antivir. www.free-av.com both have a very hifg detection rate. AVG frees healing capability is disabled i think.its available only in the pro version
