key board not working in press any key to boot from cd screen

hey everybody.... :lol:

I am very new here... i am using win8 now but want to install win7.
in boot screen i am able to use key board but in the screen where it shows
press any key to boot from cd keyboard not working ... I am using ps2 key board plz help.. :cry:

BTW whats the problem ??? u said you were able to use the keyboard see your post again. and yes if you meant that you were not able to use it then have you tried the keyboard else where ... is it working on windows ?

Are you able to enter into BIOS?

Enter bios and under the 'boot' section find the 'set boot priority' option and move your DVD drive to the top of the list. Save and reboot and it will automatically boot into the cd if it is inserted.
