Dear All,

Recently I found that my wifi is open (not secured using password). I rectified it now.
But I have a few question.,
I am using a DLINK router (Wired to my computer and used wifi for mobile). Is it possible that somene can see all my

  1. Desktop Activities because the WIFI is on . For desktop, I used Wired net and not wifi.
  2. My Mobile activities because the WIFI is on

From what limited understanding I have it is possible that your internet activities have been compromised but it is highly unlikely that your desktop activities were monitored unless a remote viewer software was installed on it as well.

What security are you using for your wifi now? Recommended is WPA2-PSK with a strong password.

You are 100% ok unless you are experiencing a MITM or DDoS attack, on which nobody would waste time for us home users.
