kk550i charging problem

i have the data cable but it wont charge on my pc i dont gdet it it will work fine on my bf's p.c :s is there anything i can do that will help?

yes,,,hav u installed the sony ericsson PC suite properly ?if u havent then first install the pc suite,,if it is already installed then try to uninstall and install it.sometimes my K550i also shows the same problem.also try to clean the fast port connector with alcohol ,sometimes due to rust formation this happens and it may be also due to loosening of the fast port connector.

ya pretty sure i installed it right hard to install it wrong really

i even got the latest pc suite from the sony site but it's just not working on my pc :-x

charging will work, even if usb drivers are not installed
you need USB drivers only to establish the communication protocol, no need to power up. USB is hot plug !!

The problem is in your PC, may be USB hot plugging has been disabled. Or something.

go the the service menu (> * < < * < *)
service settings >> and turn on the usb charging
