Lan Card not detected...!!!!

Hii I m Using Win XP SP-3 on Intel Dual Core 2.80 Ghz,Intel D102GGC2 and 1 GB 533 MHz...My system has Onboard N/w card...but now it's not detected....So i bought another N/W card and connected it in PCI Slot but no use...my system doesn't recognises it....What should i do now...can anyone pls help me....????:confused:

Detect it from control panel->add new hardware & follow the screen instructions.

install mobo drivers....(same thing happened in my new rig, then installed mobo drives, and instantly problem got solved :) )
