INR 35K (Flexible by 2K)

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

13 inch or more (Bigger the better)

3) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?

Minimum 4GB RAM & Core i5 processor. Okay with DOS as my college provides windows.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

Prefer Dell as my last laptop was Dell 5521 and I had a decent experience

6) Anything else you would like to say?

- Should have a really nice battery backup
- Robust build quality

A) The above laptops are over my budget

B) I'm not too sure about the build quality of these laptops. Don't prefer Lenovo.

Please suggest some laptops with following features:
1) screen size 13-14 inch. (to stick into the budget)

2) No plasticy body please! Something like the mac? (okay, just kidding :/)

3) The laptop will only be used for internet browsing and making ppts. No gaming, photoshop nothing. So I guess any processor should do? And of course, ditch the graphic card.

4) No fat bulky ones please?

Those are the best ones I can find with ulv i5 under 40k. You need to understand that 35k is a bit less for a laptop with good build quality and specifications.

Edit: Screen size alone doesn't determines the price.

but the point is I don't need an i5 as my usage isn't much.

Check of flex from lenovo. You might find one or two in your budget.
