I need a laptop for general use. My priority is durability and build quality.

1) What is your budget? (37K)

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
none

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
1.Internet
2.Movies
3.Office use
4.Basic Gaming

how about this?

GT610 won't help, instead get this: Samsung NP300E5X-A01IN. Intel HD4000 is more than sufficient for basic gaming.

if basic gaming is not and issue stick with Toshiba Budget series Under 30k and utilize excess cash to Upgrade PC

Laptops have a lifespan of around 3 years and prices drop every year so high end laptops a waste of cash

Unless your constantly o the move and laptop is your main computing accessory I Suggest otherwise

Check the Lenovo g580. This has USB 3.0 which the Sammy doesn't have .
