1)What is your budget? (INR or USD)

38-42k max.

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

15 inches


3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like:HP ,Lenovo
b. Dislike:
Asus,Acer

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing ?
Browsing ,watching movies ,programming(Visual studio etc),little but not heavy gaming
5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?
hmm...i watch a lot of movies ...so must have good screen

6) Anything else you would like to say? (eg: local purchase, ASS,matte/glossy finish etc)
i feel i5 would be better than a10 ,since ll be using much for programming than gaming

Is lenovo (Z580) better than hp g6 - (2221TU) ?
Do win8 Suck?will it support all the applications that win 7 supports?

^dont know if i can trust samsung havent heard much about it.
Can anyone plz tell me if hp g6 is better or lenovo ?
is it true that win8 sucks & many applications supported by win7 is not supported by win8?
Plz reply soon gotta buy a lappy very soon

Win8..yea it sucks :) UEFI Bios Crap..but boots-up in less than 10 sec's :doublethumb:..can't dual boot in my Z580. Btw, awesome UI :clap2: apps work in two different mode win8/Desktop mode and yes, supports all win7 apps.

+1 for HP G6 with Corei5, Its awesome. Bought it 2 weeks back. No problems. Runs very smoothly and Windows 8's pretty good!! :) you get a +2 years warranty extension if you pay another 2k on this lappy. Check out - www.hp.com/in/buyandprotect You wont get this offer on the AMD proccy one. Only i5/i7 laptops.
If budget is too high go for 2049tx - 36k. DOS model/14'. You can install any OS. Please find out whether the warranty extension offer is there or no for this laptop. Im not sure but i remember HP Exclusive dealer in my city saying it is valid for 2049tx too.
