Hi all,
I am a software developer who will be leaving the current organization to work as a freelance consultant.
I usually use Eclipse, Visual Studio, Enterprise solutions(which require 4 GB RAM) and also use VM images for development if required.
I won't be using it for games
Based on that I am thinking of taking a laptop with following configurations mainly
3rd Gen i5 Intel Processor
8 GB Ram
Harddisk- Min 120 GB(can use portable Harddisk if required for more).
14 inch laptop.
Budget is Upto 60K(not more than that
)
iam not able to identify any particular brand as such. Please help me in choosing one of the laptop.
Is Ultrabooks good to be used for development?
