Hello Digitains,

I want to gift my brother a lappy on his birthday & my budget is around 40-42k. I have shortlisted following models :

1. Acer Aspire 5830TG - 41.5k
Intel i5 2410M Processor
3GB DDR3 RAM
15.6" HD Screen
500GB HDD
Nvidia GT540M 1GB GPU
Win 7 HP (64 Bit Os)

2. Asus K Series K53SV - 41k
Intel i5 2410M Processor
4GB DDR3 RAM
15.6" HD Screen
640GB HDD
Nvidia GT540M 1GB GPU
Win 7 HP (64 Bit Os)

These two laptops are very similar in terms of specs/performance but the Acer 5830TG looks better & less heavy whereas Asus feels more robust. My bro will be using laptop for web surfing, casual gaming, watching movies etc.

Regards.

Asus is better

+1 for Asus

Anything wrong with Acer?
