Laptop freezing with random color blank screen

Mostly happens when I open a game in LDPlayer. Recently it happened also when playing Asphalt 9 (downloaded from windows store). I have to force shut down & restart again. But earlier I was able to play Asphalt 9 & games in LDPlayer in without this problem. Few months ago laptop's display was damaged (I think due to a short circuit in PSU) so using an external monitor.

Force the game to run on dGPU, then iGPU. See if either fixes it. Asphalt is light enough to be played on iGPU.

Asphalt is working with an integrated GPU, but today when I opened Postman desktop app, same blank screen issue. Not sure it was using dedicated GPU, but after I explicitly set to integrated GPU in Graphics settings, it is working. What's wrong with graphics card?

Postman is not related to GPU in any way. Have you checked for corrupted windows files ? What your system logs say ?

Only blank screen appeared, not blue screen of death. Where to find it?

Can you try using windows in Safe Mode and see if you face the issue there ?

Maybe reset Windows once & see if it helps. My father had some random issues on his laptop with apps like Chrome sometimes just closing on its own. Clean Windows install did solve the issue.

Now Asphalt 9 is assigned to Integrated graphics card also giving a blank colored screen when the loading completes. But GT Racing 2, Beach Buggy working fine (haven't specifically assigned these, must be using default option let Windows decide.
