My friend has a 10 month old pc,the problem he is facing is that whenever he switches on the pc the CPU boots normally but the moniter refuses to show up,i.e the LED on the moniter glows(green) but no display. His config is P4-2.8ghz,intel 845 chipset mobo with on board graphic and sound,256MB ram, etc.Moniter is a LG 17",we have tried everything like alternate UPS,CPU and i think problem lies with the moniter but don't know the excat problem.Guys pls help us ASAP.
Have you tried the system with another Monitor? Also, have you tried the monitor on another system?
Arun
i had a similar prob
there was a minor circuit brak in the monitor due to high voltage
so get it checked
Sakumar we tried it on a alternate pc it was the same problem. Also vijay, what kinda circuit break??blown capacitors??or some burnt IC.Also the moniter is still under warranty will the service guys fix it under warranty??
Since the monitor is still covered under onsite warranty, get ii it checked by company tecnitian only. If u try to open it then warranty will get void.
But make sure that u call between 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, ok?
BTW does that LED blink?
