I have a lenovo y510p and having startup problems. For few months bios was taking a long time to boot (but not always). Lenovo Logo would come about 5-10 minutes late. Today, When I turn on my laptop led and fans starts but screen is black. I tried swaping rams, trying running with one ram nothing works. I finally removed and reinstalled hdd and it booted perfectly. But when I restarted the same symptoms and it does not work again. I tried the same thing with hard disc again but to no effect. I let it run for 2hours but nothing happens.
One thing I saw that during the on stage when I insert / remove power cable sometimes it makes beep sound. Is that reveals anything?
