"Sauver is a simple and easy to use Operating System for standard Intel or AMD powered computers. Sauver is an Operating System based on the Linux kernel...It is a distribution developed, maintained and sponsored by only one person that is Maulik Gordhandas from Mumbai."

screenshots look like ubuntu...but faster; the default environment is kde! for the standard edition. it also has a software to dual load sauver with windows xp; tools for undelete of deleted files; ntfs r/w support; u can make a usb live, ipod live or any memory card bootable. and it is compact !

it was released around last year and hence may be old for some linux users, but nevertheless others may find it informative.
