Lumia 530 or Moto E for 6-7k (extend) are the bare minimum you should get for a low budget phone and are certainly not underpowered etc, great quality, after sales and guarenteed updates

^ I've used both Redmi 1s and Moto E. 1s' build quality is on par with Moto E if not better

its not at all near Moto,Moto feels very solid in hand
also the Redmi 1S reviews are also rather disturbing-

going by flipkart reviews?
why not this one? Xiaomi Redmi 1S review: Stormtrooper - GSMArena.com

because flipkart is where we indians can get it from and since the reviews are bad of the users itself, its not a safe buy at all
plus gsmarena's reviewer wont use a redmi 1s everyday ,he will probably have a flagship phone or the next phone to review
