Often mobile manufacturers claim that there mobile screen is capable of displaying 65k,262k colours.Is there any way to measure this?

its always true as it is tested and if it nt u ca fetach anyy amt of money u wnt if u buy the celll
there is a software which benchmarks ur mobile...but dunno if it gives true specs of ur phone...
for symbian cells use spmark04.. But u can see that by looking @ ur screen too i suppose
