If you have a smart TV, it should be easy to mirror wirelessly. Just enable wireless mirroring on your TV & look for same from your phone via Smart View.
For wired, my bet will be on the fact that USB C to HDMI won't work because the Type C port likely doesn't support display out, its usually found on flagship phones.
