How can I use my landline TATA INDICOM LG-340E to work with Windows XP. winXP does NOT detect it and says that the port is empty

- check if serial cable is properly connected behind the pc
- if u have the red tata indicom cd , install the software given in it
- install as standard 56k or higher modem from options . check their specifications
- u have to change the options in phone menu to modem ie data
