What is a GSM modem? how do i use my cell phone as a GSM modem? or is that a seperate component?
modem
gsm modem nothing but its called so when u use your mobile your modem to browse internet. the mobile acts as a modem so u can say modem is inbuilt into ur cell phone.
for using ur phone as a modem u need a GPRS enabled handset,a data cable or a bluetooth dongle if your phone supports bluetooth. u can use a data cable as it gives more speed than bluetooth.
for using internet u have to first check if ur phone support GPRS
