Moto G versus Moto X

Hi All,

I am looking forward to buy a phone under 25K and seems Moto G or Moto X is good option in this segment based on the hardware and OS.

But I am slightly confuse between Moto X and Moto G which one to choose as there is a difference of 10K between these phones.
Also the difference I see as below

Ram: Moto G 1GB where as Moto X 2GB
Display: Moto G 4.5 720P where as Moto X 4.7 1080P
Processor: Moto G 1.2GHz where as Moto X 1.7 GHz
Applications: Moto X Active display etc

So any suggestion which one to go.

get LG Optimus G E970 from here Global EasyBuy if you don't care about warranty, else +1 to Moto G.

Display
Unique features like touchless control active notifications
Build and design feels really good to hold
Smooth in day to day use and runs all high end games really nice(tested asphalt 8 at high and GTA SA it superb)
Cons
Standby battery not that good (screen time is still fine)
Gets slightly warm when used and a little more warmer when playing graphic intensive games(wasn't an issue for me) but nothing to worry about
Non expandable storageu get around 11gb available enough for me
Neutral
Camera isn't a stellar but not bad either just decent enough

Overall
Highly recommended

how is the music quality in moto X ,..?

The speaker of MotoX is loud and clear. And the touch less control is class apart.
Go for MotoX

Superb both via headphones and without also
Plus the speaker outside is so loud that had to reduce call volume to around 40% cause it's that loud!!
Also vibration and haptic feedback is strong

Moto X has more features and Moto G is better VFM!(Value for money) Both will serve your purpose!

See most free apps I have are from play store rest paid ones via utorrent as for a good music player I guess poweramp is good

which screen guard and cover u are using../

I just bought Moto G. And it seems fine in the price range. The quality is good and I think its a VMF.

Guys any idea how to make Moto G to act as dual call mode as when a call on sim is active other become not reachable. Even if the configuration is dual active.

about games , which latest fifa can be installed on MotoX , or any COD or Medal of honour games

FIFA 14 available for play store and lol u don't have cod and moh for play store or App Store but if u want a good fps game try modern combat 4 otherwise a must try game is GTA SA loving it though batt consuming but yea

not through play store , can we get cracked one from torrent

this isnt the thread to ask but this functionality depends on the network carrier as well.. It doesnt seem to work for me in Reliance (even though my phone supports it)

but in that many will be locked right...? , i just downloaded unlocked APK file from torrent , now how to install to my phone..?

i think fifa14 is freemium..( like Real racing 3 ..You can unlock the players/modes/teams/whatever but its gonna take some time & a lot of game-time)..

To install a game from outside sources, Download the APK file & also download the data package of the game ( this is the biggest part of most games..for fifa14 , it should be +1.1GB )
Once both are downloaded, i think you need to place the data folder in Android folder of your phone.
& then, install the game using apk file.

P.S: don't forget to enable the option" install from other sources" in security tab in settings of your mobile.

I've played virtua tennis. It needs some time to perfect shots and timings.

Lol problem I am facing is normal is to easy and hard is too hard there is no medium...:/

Yeah, I think it has a default screen guard. Take it to any reputed mobile service shops... ask them. They can find if its there.
