If it's priced below 30k in India, i see it doing well.. Even i was waiting for it..but the downside has to be the battery. Also hope the camera has been improved

First its not Moto X+1...They are calling it Moto X(2nd Gen)

I think its price will be around 35k if it launches here with 4G support

Below 30 k and it will sell like hot cakes.. But highly skeptical over my thoughts..

If Moto X (2nd gen) is prices around 35K, then good bye to it. New version of Nexus 5 with improved features would beat it hands down.

Don't fly paper planes in air!
Next Nexus is from Moto!
Why would it price it higher than Nexus???
Moto X 2nd Gen ~25-28k definitely !
As Next Nexus expected around ~35-38k

The only better thing would be the extra 1GB RAM...Everything else can be lived without if you are getting former for 5-6k lesser

GSMARENA says 5.2"

That is nexus S which could be a android silver device. Nexus X is expected to be international nexus model with 5.9 inch screen which is 2k.

This link should give you a good idea about upcoming nexus and screen sizes

2300mah battery? :duh2:

They optimize Android for the maximum battery. I have seen it on Moto G. And thanks to there Active Display and 2 separate proccy for the display and voice command. They save a power, to save battery.

but won't the bumped up screen end up consuming extra power anyway?

The reviews say battery life is still good... Efficient screen, and efficient processor... So, the battery life remains almost similar or slightly better compared to last year...

Thanks for the clarification..although surprising to see Moto G 2014 consuming more battery than the older one..Damn Moto should have upgraded the processor.. :)

Moto X (2nd Gen) (Black)

Moto X (2014) appears at flipkart, gets rated and even a review is written but got pulled down. zauba shows 0 import. the price should have appeared else review won't be possible.

GSMArena posted their review,

Moto X (2014) review: Have it your way - GSMArena.com

I can't say I am impressed. Especially those camera samples, most of them are simply awful (and I usually don't care about a phone's camera), the display is extremely over-saturated according to them, the battery for me should be okay, but it's actually pretty poor considering it's a 2014 phone, hmm, don't think I will be getting this.

Waiting for Nexus 6 now. Where the hell is the S5 GPE by the way? Cancelled or what?

Another disappointing aspect is the fact that Flipkart may not sell the 32gb model in india. This was the sole reason why i didn't buy the previous gen.

It's not FK I am mad at, but the price. 32k is way steep considering the previous gen cost 24K.
What's with Motorola? 1K less for 2nd gen of Moto G, and 8K more for 2nd gen Moto X. Makes sense?

Moto X 2nd gen makes the Moto G 2nd gen look more VFM, considering it also have stereo speakers. :p

PS: At that price, Nexus 5 or HTC E8 is more worthy!
