named service dies down

Hi ppl..
there is a server in my college which is on 24*7 Running on RH9
now the named deamon dies down repeatedly. time variation is from 4 hrs to say 24 hours..

see log file /var/log/message it got first clue why it is dies

well i must update the info...the service is still running but it stops working...

Ok ppl i found the solution to this problem and giving the solution for future reference..

The trouble was with the physical networking. ..Some times when the network went down the said DNS wasn't able to connect to the prinary DNS of the college. As a result It began to look for the secondary DNS (which was not maintained)..it led to clash of entries and as a result its execution was not proper..
