hey frnds i need a 4 core processor since they are required for gaming ....but in intel it costs me about 12k....suggest a 4 core cpu under 7 k for gaming.

Buddy, you need to specify other things like what is the budget for Motherboard or you already have one or not.

As you are already getting a new graphic card, i would suggest i3 3220 (7k) adn Gigabyte b75m dh3 (4k).

Games usually don't use all 4 cores, a good dual core cpu is good enough for gaming. A good graphic card is what most matters.

AnandTech - Bench - CPU

i3-3220 is dual core with hyper threading and thus it is very good for gaming at your budget
it can beat core2quads in majority of case

also you will need atleast a gtx650ti (~Rs9000) graphics card to play good games
