1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)

Rs 30000-35000

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: ASUS, Sony,
b. Dislike:HP,Acer
c. Neutral : Lenovo, HP

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?

Gaming- F1 2012, FIFA 12, Need for speed Shift 2

MS Office usage

Programming- Eclipse

For using Ubuntu/Linux Mint

5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?

I would prefer matte finish. Should not be too much of plastic, as seen in HP laptops.

6) Anything else you would like to say? (eg: local purchase, ASS,matte/glossy finish)

I do not know if Intel HD graphics 4000 is enough for playing games as told above. What do u guys suggest.?

There are no disadvantages of AMD except the performance is lower than the Intel ones. I am using a AMD based computer from past 2 years, except low performance I didn't face any issues. But my choice in the future will be Intel for sure.

second that..get Win8 installed seperately if you want.

AFAIK amd's integrated graphics ~3 times better than intel's hd 4000.
You wouldn't even require discrete Graphics for playing FIFA 12 at medium settings.

the hp laptop comes with the new APU's from AMD
All Trinity laptops will cost a maximum of 36k.
