1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
INR 50K can stretch upto 55K

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Viewing full HD videos, Video editing, surfing and a bit of gaming(moderate graphics).

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eyeing for ?
Do not know much about laptop configs in general. But looking for a good one which I'll be using for a foreseeable future.
Heard about the Lenovo Y50 series from my friends though.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: Lenovo,Dell
b. Dislike:HP(Heard about a lot of heating issues from ppl using them)

6) Anything else you would like to say?
SSD if possible would be great.
Also looking for a Laptop with illuminated keyboard display.
RAM ,the more the merrier.

Screen resolution ( 1080p (Full HD) )
Full HD or HD.

Battery back up ( normal (3-4hrs) / extended (5-7hrs) )
Normal battery backup would be fine.

Purchase place ( Online (eg - flipkart, infibeam) / Local / Abroad (do mention the country) )
Online or local or Abroad(Australia)
depending upon the models available..

This one has 1080p screen + genuine Windows, but lesser powerful CPU & GPU than the ASUS one:
HP Pavilion 15-ab032TX Notebook (M2W75PA) (5th Gen Intel Core i5-8GB RAM-1TB HDD-39.6cm (15.6)-Windows 8.1-2GB Graphics) (Silver) - Buy HP Pavilion 15-ab032TX Notebook (M2W75PA) (5th Gen Intel Core i5-8GB RAM-1TB HDD-39.6cm (15.6)-Windows 8.1-2GB Gra

All high performance laptops heats up pretty high under load, so you can't avoid that
