1. Budget - 10k. Can stretch upto 15k
2. Display type and size - Bigger would be better. Display tech doesn't matter but overall quality should be good.
3. Dual sim - Yes
4. Preferred choice of brand - None. It's just that after sales service should be good.
5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera) - Looking for best quality front facing camera. THIS IS THE TOP PRIORITY!
6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS,Stock Android etc). - Android
7. Preferred connectivity options (Dual 4G,802.11AC/5Ghz(not 5g mobile network) wifi). - No preference.
8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)? - Recording vines, videos for social platform.
9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? - None. But I need to buy the phone urgently!!
10. Any other info that you want to share No.

Please advise.

Redmi Note 7 pro, spend some time(~1-2 hours incl reading articles) to disable various ad related options in miui & you are good to go.

Redmi Note 8 should suffice. It has similar cameras to RN 7 Pro & has a dedicated SD card slot while costing less, the SoC is weaker, but will easily suffice as you won't be gaming. 4GB 64GB variant will suffice, but not much harm in jumping to 6GB 128GB fro 3k extra.

There are steps to minimize ads. Note that MP isn't a metric for camera quality. A 25MP selfie cam of Oppo/Vivo might give similar or inferior results in many cases & their OS isn't that good.

Also, gcam takes better pics than most stock camera apps. Make sure the phone has a working port available on XDA.

The OIS camera is definitely good, so is the software updates, but big notch & relatively smaller battery are some major cons. Still overall a good phone for those looking for a good rear cam. Front cam should be on par with the competition, if not better.
