Need a new phone with....

Hi,
My old faithful friend 3220 got 'rain-washed'. Neways, I need a new phone which shud have ...(priority wise)
1. Camera -> atleast 3.2 MP
2. Price -> Rs.15000 Soft limit and Rs.20000 hard limit!
3. Wifi/Wlan, Edge
4. Style
5. Fine speakers

I searched and found N82. Looks promising. Please give your opinion and suggestions!

N82 or wait for the C905(releasing end august).

Nokia N82 is a great phone...U don't need 2 think twice before buying it....Its a great Value for Money..Has a 5 MP cam with Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss Optics, A-GPS, Wifi, 3G...Its cam results r far superior than any other phone in this category presently...Its a symbian phone...U can install a lot of applications..U can store unlimitied entries in the phonebook..It has 3.5 mm output jack (u can plug in any headphones), TV Out (u can view pics on TV), Motion Sensor..It can shoot videos @30fps in VGA format...

The N82 is definitely the phone 2 buy.....Go for it...

However, if u want a 3.2 MP cam phone, u can buy SE K810i or N73 ME..Both r gud in their own ways...

Woah, really? But I must say 'no' to N73ME and I have my reasons coz it doesn't have wifi. Wifi is a must in this hifi age.

I am planning to sell off my iPhone 8GB and buy N82.How much will it cost?Does it have GPS,3G,WiFi?What is the size of the memory card?What about sound and picture quality?
How is it compared to K850i.I'm a bit confused between these two.

I checked out on that fonearena site. It says price is Rs.19400. But since u stay in Delhi I hope u know how it works out here.

What about N-Gage?

I know nothing about N-Gage, but will find about that too. I hope others will reply. I dunno about the showrooms in pitampura (its faroff, but reachable via metro), but AFAIK there is a showroom in Connaught Place. You may need to confirm that. There is a showroom in Vikas Marg though as my friend told me. Showroom is no problem.

You can reach connaught via the pitampura metro station or if u own a bike like the rest of the Delhi's traffic-cutters.

N82 or the E71. In WM, Asus m530w or the Moto Q9.

E71 has got a good review on Tech2.

The N82 costs arnd 19400 at the present moment...It has GPS, 3G, Wifi...It is an all in one phone..A 2 GB Micro SD card comes bundled with it...However u can use a 8 GB Micro SD Card with it easily...

If price is a constraint as of now, u can wait for 1-2 months...The 3G iphone is being launched this month on contract basis by Airtel and Vodafone..So, to stay in the competition, Nokia will definitely drop the prices...Nokia has already slashed its prices by arnd 10% on selected models in UK...Hopefully, Nokia will have price cuts in India soon.

2. Moto Q9 -> 2 MP => not suitable!

I would suggest for Nokia N82 (Black). I am presently using this device since for quite some time. I use Wifi/Wlan at my office ... it's a great feature.. It's all in One phone... I got it for Rs. 19500 couple of months back.. its worth the value

Thanx for givin the valuable inputs. I want wifi for the same purpose. And how about the sound quality compared to N73?

Sound loudness is low compared to N73 & K850i. I use Sony Ericsson ear phones, the music is surprisingly great through it.

Go for the N82. The N95 is old now. yea all 3.5 mm standard earphones will work with the N82 OOTB.

E71 i will suggest (qwerty keypad)

or N82 if you want a better cam

And so I bought the N82. I don't understand what the furore was bt the hard keypad in some reviews. But neways the camera is fantabulous, wifi works without any pauses while watching youtube on the same 256 kbps connections that give pauses on PCs. Since I have audiophile ears and m used to 5.1 surround sound, I would say Sound Quality is fine. Lets see how I can use this to its full potential. Video conferencing, VOIP perhaps?
