First of all room size please.

Then Go for either Daikin or Bluestar, best in class

One info:
Last year 3 Star rating products has Energy efficiency ratio of ~2.84
This year 2 Star rating products has Energy efficiency ratio of ~2.84

So this year 3 Star is more energy efficient and costly too

^^ I don't understand. If the Energy efficiency ratio for both (2 and 3 star product) is same, then why one would be costly then the other?

Don't exactly know. Please suggest me a 2 ton AC which is energy efficient.
Is Voltas a bad company?

^^ I think Daikin won't fit into your budget for a 2 tonne one. If you can extend the budget and go for Daikin/o general.

^^ :+1:

Daikin , Ogeneral are really very good..

Consult your local dealer. Different models have different features. So, list your features to the dealer to suggest a model from the brand.

any suggestion fr me, friends...

voltas model because it has compressor, condenser and pipelines all are made of pure copper unlike LG-samsung aluminum. Ask your dealer to provide hitachi or mitsbushi compressor in voltas.

its voltas gold 1.5t sac

There are 4 types of gold 1.5t sac, I'm talking about gold 2 star (2S). LINK

MRP 31490 INR you can get 8-10% discount from distributor shop.

Installation charges 1k + 3-4k for a digital stabilizer (V-guard recommended)

Gold 5 star is of 39k MRP LINK :|

It will cost you 36k (8% discount) + 1k installation + 3k stabilizer = 40k!!

If your budget is 25-27k better to get a window ac 5 star. But Platinum 5S LINK

Why do dealers offers 8% discount?
Are Bluebird stabilizers bad?

I'm talking about distributor cum dealers, they generally offer 8-10% discount on MRP, because they offer discount to sell you LOL.
Never heard of bluebird, I prefer v-guard, it is a old and very reliable brand.
BTW What kind of AC are you looking for?

budget increased to 32k-35k. can u suggest a good 1.5 ton split ac within this budget.
also if u can, suggest some window ac model.

1. electricity bill for window ac is more than split ac
2. No 5 star is too costly and hardly u see a difference of 200-400 rupees per month.
If u r using it for about 18 hours u can see the more price difference
3. Carrier AC's is the first brand in heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, but they are costly [my frd said so]

My suggestion is Daikin, My other frd using it for 10 years no problem so far [so i also bought it].
I think ur budget ll fit, not sure cause Daikin price's gone up

no way, i need to use ac for 18 hours. i just need on those annoying heat days.
got a quote for voltas and carrier window ac.

VOLTAS PLATINUM 5S window AC consume just 1607W power.
It costs 28k in market.

thx for da model n info. i prefer split ac. bt its my dad pushing me for window.
to setup a window ac in a room where u dont hav any pre-organised space for ac, cost another few bucks. so its always better to setup split. and for window ac u hav setup a iron cage for it, to prevent it from thief.

can u plz chk voltas gold 1.5t sac. its a 5 star split ac. price within 32k. i chked it online.
