Need Advice on 10-12K Segment

Hi All,

Once again I am with a query... I am planning to gift a electronic device around 10-12K to one of my friend.
I am totally confused on what to select.
Finally I have planned to settle for the following devices.
Help me in choosing one...

Apple IPOD Touch
Huawei X5 PRO / U 8550 Vision

I am bit inclined towards IPOD touch as it might be best for this price
Other suggestions are also welcome...

Ipod is a nice thing to gift.
And if you plan to give a phone as a gift then you can have a look at Sony tipo

as it is a gift, Ipod Touch is the best option.

tipo is a good phone except for the 256k color screen..
