It has a very good configuration. Any idea how to install Ubuntu OS on it? And what about hardware support? Will stand alone Ubuntu system enough to detect all hardware?

Me too thinking to buy this laptop..
i have read alotttttt of users reviews about this lappy...
This laptop had issues with brightness key and performance issues while charging..
this issues has been solved by the lenovo support with a new BIOS release(2.05) version.

i think we might have heating issues with this laptop...
Using a good cooling pad can solve this issue..

one more suggestion is dont go for HP...this is my personal experience with HP..
lenovo is far better than HP now in Laptops.
