14" will work as the laptop will lighter.
but 15" is better for me.

almost no gaming, regular work, ms office, little bit photo edit, music & movies.
5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Ryzen 5 caught my eyes, but do they have the over heating issues like in previous AMD processors?
If Ryzen 5 is not a good choice, what would be?
I want 128-256GB SSD + 1TB HDD + 8-16GB RAM
