Sound Magic PL30 or Head Direct RE2

How r Creative EP-635?

Philips SHe-9700

I would say no to creative, they are good but instead you should go for Soundmagic PL30 if you are spending under 1k or within 1 - 1.5k RE2 will be good choice.

Senheisser HD 1230?

Sound Magic PL30 or Philips SHE 9700.

If you are tight on budget, then... Sony MDR-EX35LP (1-1.2k)
