I am planning to buy an External Hard disk for Storage of Movies & Games. Budget 6K

1.USB 3.0 compatible
2.Without External power.
3.Best Extended Warranty

1. Confuse to go for 1TB or 2TB
2. 2.5" inch or 3.5" inch...Which one is more life

Pls Suggest best one.

2.5" is better for portable form factor.WD has really good after sales support but as per various review sites, performance of seagate backup plus is a bit better than WD My Passport Ultra.

As for reliability, toss a coin is all I can say.Only thing for sure is no hard disk is 100% reliable & for any important data always make a backup/copy in another hdd.

As for now i like WD My Passport 2TB,
Opps..Last 2 days price was raised 500 rs. :-(

WD has recently upgraded their Ultra series, latest version has different design & a plastic material type looking body compared to older versions' metallic material type looking body.
