[Need Help] Laptop Hard Drive Got Slow

I am trying to use my old laptop and it's very slow when Im trying to install Windows 10 on it . The laptop is over 10 years old .
Would it be the case that the hard disk had worn out over time ?

The installation process took several minutes so its clear that its my Hard Disk issue .

Can someone help to fix this issue , Thanks

10 years old with HDD will be damn slow. check ports and get a SATA SSD at least if you want to use it. what is the configuration of it?

I'm not aware , where can I find it ?

just check its back for model number. google it. also check about computer option.

yes you can use a SATA SSD. you will see remarkable change in speed. you can but a ssd caddy, remove DVD drive and fit it there.
it says 2GB DDR3 RAM. that will make it slow. try to get 8 or at least 4.

If you need more internal storage: Replace DVD with HDD in a caddy and use sata ssd in 2.5" drive slot.
If you need DVD drive: Replace HDD with sata ssd.

Don't put ssd in DVD drive slot (which might be a sata 2 slot)

I have 4 Gigs .
