Need new GPU

Hello everyone,
Need to replace GPU. Need your suggestions.

PC is ~8years old & config is
Intel core i5 760
MSI H55M-E33
1 * 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Transcend
ASUS EAH5670 1GB - Replacing this
Corsair CX400W

A Repair shop suggesting of service it. Is it advisable? (I saw in another thread it is not advisable but wanted to know is it same for all the cases)

Don't go for the repair. What's your budget?

Never go for repairing a graphics card out of warranty. Also mention what usage you have for graphics card(like game(mention name),multimedia etc).

Ok, will go for new one.
Purpose Photo Editing - Photoshop & Lightoom 80%, Watching movies, Surfing & Youtube 20%
Budget ~4k. Open to suggestions. As I think the PC is 8 years old I am little hesitant to spend much. On the other hand don't want to comprise on performance as Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom will lag and affect workflow. Above configuration I got from experts here 8 years before which got me the best within my budget :) If possible GPU + 4GB ddr3 RAM for 5k.

Equivalent of 5670 is R7 240 *www.amazon.in/MSI-R7-240-Profile-PCI-Express/dp/B00FRHIIPK/ It should work almost similar as 5670 for your work.
