Need some advice on GFX card

i am going to buy a gfx card from a forum. A seller is sailing his ATI 4850 palit 512MB for 5K it is 1.5 years old. Can you tell me if his price quote is ok or not. Don`t know the recent prices just because i am asking here.

6.5k is the current price for a new HD4850 and I would pay 3.5k-4k for second hand

Dude, the card is 1.5 yrs old and I don't think its having warranty.

As desiibond mentioned, try to up ur budget a bit and get the same card in new.

Yes, exactly. Also, if you can't up your budget, you are better off with a brand new 9800GT @ 5.5k rather than a second hand 4850.

1. Intel Pentium D 3.0GHz 2.3years old
2. Transcend 512MB DDR2 667MHz Clk-5 2.3 years old
3. Kingston 1GB DDR2 667MHz Clk-5 Purchased on jan-2008.
