Code:

what is current price of 500GB/1TB internal HDD from Seagate and WD?

When I inquired at local store they told me Seagate/WD 500 GB is around 3.7k(External not Internal).

But I read in some old posts that price of 1TB was ~2.7k couple months ago.So what is this big leap of 1000 Rs. for half of capacity.

Please suggest cheapest price (I don't need faster even 5400rpm is acceptable) with where to buy?

The prices have increased due to the flood in Thailand.. Seagate and WD have many plants there so due to the shortage of drives the prices have increased....

Get your drives from Flipkart..

Flipkart: WD Caviar Blue 500 GB HDD Internal Hard Drive (WD5000AAKX): Internal Hard Drive

OMG this is just the double @4.5k(for 500 GB) and how much external HDD will cost?
