Need to buy a MP FPS. Help!

Im looking forward to buy a FPS with good multiplayer presence. Im not new to the genre and would like some non-zombie and monster stuff (more in the likes of BF and CS)

config: fx6300, rx270x and 4gb ram

If you just wanna shoot some people and have fun then buy Battlefield 3/4 or CoD AW or BO2 or MW3.

If you are serious about the game and have the dedication to learn, buy CSGO.

Insurgency is a hardcore shooter and can get a bit frustrating but it's a thrilling experience.

I have played insurgency and yeah it is fun as hell.
But pretty much realistic where one bullet and you are dead .
My vote goes to
BG4/ insurgency
P.S. - insurgency is on sale @ steam . you may want to give a try .

what about bf3?

I read a few posts on Google it said many of the servers are dead. I was hoping to spend quite some time with the game!

Do you guys play bf3 regularly?

Usually TDF people playing BF4 now but BF3 lobbies are also there and very active really.

We used to play Insurgency a lot....like a hell lot. Played it for like 6-7 months before leaving it and moving on to other shooters.

My hostel Internet would suffice?( Lan port in each room)
It gives 60-70kbps downloading speed and YouTube videos(360p) play in real time.
I don't exactly know about the ping

check your ping to popular online servers. you do not want to sit with a game without any online servers.

but i tried playing cs 1.6 recently and it worked fine
anyhow, ill confirm before buying

btw how much should be the ping? (max limit for good play)

That depends actually. I have seen people complaining any ping above 100ms but for me anything below 200ms is just fine. Most of the Indian gamers would agree with me, thanks to the habit.

bottomline is, ~150 ms, and there wont be ANY issue.

however, anything above that, people, and more importantly servers will start complaining. when servers start complaining, you get kicked due to high pings

Yes. we play on these mostly.

Bf3 was free on origin, can't remember when though.

we play bf4 more regularly than bf3.

also, bf3 servers are sparse nowadays. only a few in singapore.
