I don't think there exist an i5 2500. There's an i5 2400 and an i5 2500k. Since you mentioned that you won't be overclocking, you are better off with a 2400.

i5 2400-9.5k
Intel DH67CL-6.5k-7k
WD 500GB Caviar Blue HDD-1.7k
G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL - 2.5k (You could opt for 6 GB if you want)
Corsair VX450- 3.5k
CM Elite 430-2.5k
LG DVD writer-0.9k
BenQ G2220HD-7.3k
Sapphire Radeon HD 6850-9.5k

Total 44.4k

There you go..

I suggest the graphics card because you want the rig to be future proof.

Why separate budget for the components?

If you buy a car do you ask for a 40k engine, 12k seats, 8k steering wheel?

@ vijaynath

At a 50k budget, i strongly suggest to go with ishu's config. Its perfect. Just add an APC 800 va ups @ 3.5k.

@ ishu
