how do I conect to the internet by knoppix?
I specified the userid and password and it writes initializing modem....my modem is detected and workin fine though then what is the problem...? :cry:

Search for wvdial in this forum(Open Source),it works well with most serial modems.

well I am using a external D-Link 56kbps modem..

Oh thats good. I should have been recognised on its own. Just check the device tab and ensure you have selected the right one.
