Networking problem plz help

I have a home network as shown in this picture

1. PC>Windows 7 64 bit ultimate>Kaspersky Internet security 2010
2. Netbook> Windows 7 32bit starter>Norton Internet security 2011
3. Printer with wifi

I can share internet connection with any device in network, I can use the printer by any device. But I cant Share/transfer files between my notebook and desktop PC :cry:

What steps did you follow to share files b/w the two devices??

In win 7 share go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center
then go to Advanced sharing settings and made changes at your requirement.

Use TeamViewer for transferring files. :mrgreen:

Hi,
pls verify that the firewall is turned off.if the problem exists ,put ur data in the public folder of the user and turn on public folder sharing.
