Get Huawei P1/Lg L9/Xperia L. Xperia M isnt worth its price considering its performance/specs.
Check out XOLO Q800 or Titanium series. They are worth each penny you'll spend.

i want to keep the budget as minimum as possible... dont we have anything below like 7k, 6k

you need minimum of 1 gb ram these days for a lag free android experience. xolo q700 and pantech burst are your only options below 10k. else get lumia 520 (best vfm if u can ignore lack of camera flash)
Xolo Q700,Canvas A74,etc might be decent options
any new phone launching soon, i can wait for a month or so, if prices are gonna come down or any new phones are coming
get xolo q800....you will not get any better phone than this in under 10K category....and don't wait...coz waiting never ends especially when you are going to buy a phone...
for huawei p1 you have to shell out 2.5K extra, 6K more for LG L9 as well as xperia L...definitely out of your budget...and canvas A74 sucks in battery,camera and processing department...so a big NO for it...xolo q700 has OTG (xolo q800 doesn't have it) and a bigger battery of 2400mAh capacity whereas xolo q800 has 2100mAh ...but inferior camera as comapred to xolo q800....IMHO go for xolo q800...best bang for the buck...

It has only 512 MB ram which is a big factor for the performance.
Under 10k & if there's no problem with Tier 2 brands, better you look at this monster.

its actually leaked and not official so it has a few bugs but Xolo is going to release the official one very soon.
any BTW XOLO Q800 prices increased by snapdeal, now it is for 9900 earlier it was for 9600 and no stock of q700

Increase your budget and go for 1 GB Ram. Karbonn A12+ is the best VFM if you wanna buy a 512 MB ram phone.
