Answer these questions first->

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

If you are going to sli/cf in the future, you selected a perfect build, If not go with the hitman4's build as Vapor X will blow the pants of Gtx 660. I am gonna make one too after my 12th :)!! Hope I get enough marks

^hitman4, No offence, but IMO it would be better if people posted only the parts they would like to change in a previously posted config rather than posting the whole config with the reason for changing those parts. Again, no offence.

^ hehe, anyways, back to the topic:

Motherboard Gigabyte H77M D3h

OP is not overclocking so an H77 chipset would not be of much use, so is it worth the extra 1k?

Mouse Pad Razer Goliathus Fragged Omega Control

Investing in a better mouse + Kb is better than investing in a good mouse pad IMO.

Thank u , its an awesome config but the problem is that the motherboard you have chosen is very limited and i would like mine o be future proof and a mktherboard supporting IB processors is what i want ! Also tue graphic card is a bit too much a 2Gb would be just fine :) and i prefer nvidia despite the price since it does not have driver and technical problems thank u :) Could u suggest a change in a few parts that would make it cheaper !

H77 is non overclocking motherboard Z77 is an overclocking motherboard. It has the same features of z77 motherboard except the ability to overclock

A gaming mouse without a good mouse pad is a waste imo...

you can easily fit hd7950 in your budget so why compromise on the most important computer part for playing games

Basically because i dont want to comprimise on my motherboard ! I want a z77 asus or some companies motheboard so i can overclock my cpu ! Also i need a case with 4-5 fans so i have to invest in fans too for a good airflow in my case !

Well the default of most mid range cabinets will do.
Skip the SSD and get the GPU and buy SSD later with savings. :)

^ agree, waiting 15 seconds; well maybe 20, or 30 or 40 seconds; on bootup is better than seeing jagged graphics.

The configuration given by D6bmg is the perfect balanced rig, maintaining balance between CPU horse Power and Graphics card Rendering capabilities.
smokerz123, just getting a Z77 chipset based motherboard won't allow you overclock alone, you need to buy a K series Intel Processor which will cost you around 14.5K.

Cilus , see my first specs - it clearly states the i5 3570K and the asrock z77 chipset motherboard :) iv done my homework :) and i will take his config into consideration :) its an awesome config :) thank u alot :)

Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 have LLC problem. If you can, avoid it.

Also do u think i should go with amd processor or the i5 ? I mean the 8570fx is 6 cores i dont need a hexa core processor ! Do i ? I mean im not a graphic designer or smthin ! So the i5 is my choice . Tell me why the amd fx ?

I think you want to say FX-8350 as there isn't any 8570 FX Processor. No FX 8000 series are not 6 Core, they're 8 Core CPU. FX 8350 is a 8 Core CPU with 8 MB L2 + 8MB L3 Cache and runs at 4 GHz stock speed.

Im sorry , i mean the 8350 fx and i meant 8 cores and do i really need 8 cores for gaming ? And random video playback and the internet ? Umm my giess is no the i5 will suit me just fine wont it ? And will the asrock pro MoBo do ? For about 10k ?

AT your budget, you can't accommodate 3570K plus a good Z77 motherboard (in terms of features and overclocking capability) and a good graphics card.
According to current market prices, you are 5K short to accommodate such a config. THat's why I've suggested FX-8350 over Intel so that you can have a balanced rig at your disposal with the scope for future upgradation.

And will the asrock pro MoBo do ? For about 10k ?

Whole Asrock pro series is worse than asrock extreme series.

Well thank u :) 8cores for 12k is betta than 4 cores for 14k haha :pand probably when asus was linked to asrock there motherboards were better

The config suggested by d6bmg is perfectly balanced. As an SSD is suggested, you may get a WD Green 1TB HDD, instead of Black series and invest the savings in better quality KB/Mouse.

You know that all i5's are partially locked right??
you can get a 3470 and overclock it to 3.8ghz on stock cooler and voltages easily.
Put the saved amount into hd 7870=gtx660ti and you will have a lote more power to tackle future games becos 7850~gtx 660 are in at most mid 40s in current titles at 1080p

In short exchange 7950 for 660ti or 7870 in hitman's build
use that money to upgrade mobo to an asrock extreme4 ;)

Lots of good advice has been shared. I would personally take the balanced build. Oh and harshilsharma63 - you've got a cool avatar!
