Your current system is very old so it won't be able to fully utilize any new decent graphics card. I suggest to either buy some used card for 4-5k temporarily or start saving more to build an entirely new system & then add a graphics card later.

Which Battlefield game? Which CoD MW, old or new? Please be specific.
Of course new.

Major bottleneck.
That means need to upgrade to Ryzen 5 series with G.
New board and DDR4 RAM. Then 650w 80+ bronze PSU and lastly GPU

You don't need ryzen G processor if you are going to buy graphics card for playing games anyway. You also don't need more than 550W psu unless going for high end graphics card or 8 core processor & planning on some serious overclocking. Save money & then buy everything in one go.

If GPU goes kaput without G processor how will display come to monitor?
Suffered a lot with GA990FX board when GPU went kaput

Existing 3000G series APUs are Zen+ and not Zen 2. I wouldn't buy one just for iGPU. OTOH, laptop 4000 series APUs are Zen 2.

Chances of gpu going kaput is same as chances of mobo going kaput so no point in buying an inferior processor just to get integrated graphics. If you still want to be extra safe then just buy some second hand cheap GT710/730 for 1.5-2k on olx in your city just to get display for 4-5 days while your gpu comes back from service centre.

so G suffixed processors are always inferior?

what kind of use or load makes it inferior?
Top end 3400G is inferior to R3 3100 while being superior to R5 1600 in gaming. In multi-threaded workloads like Video Editing R5 1600 is still better than those two because of more cores and threads.

Keep the current GPU (HD 6670) has back-up.

These days such problems are rare. Quality of all components has increased.

If you really want a G series processor, wait for Ryzen 4000G parts.
