There are no advertisements on the right for you (Active members). The ones which are there can be blocked by you if you want to.

Finally a new server! The old one was excruciatingly slow!

Navigation and browsing is considerably faster now. Post submit is quick also. And -- we have a "currently active users viewing" at the bottom. Love it.

phpBB isn't better. vBulletin is actually the best. A better theme would certainly do.

This dull theme was actually created by me to keep the server load low because it is very light.

I like to show my love for this forum.

phpBB is open source, but it is not better. Upgrading, modding phpBB is pain :duh2:

Atleast a better theme then - better theme does not necessarily mean higher resources - I am sure there are light themes available out there with a slightly better layout and softer colors..

Not in my hands as I'm not the one who has access to the server.

Well atleast we have the ads gone. This theme is more like Windows 95 in Windows 7 era.

Only thing we need is, using images in sig. That's one handicap this forum has.

So have all the problems been sorted out now? ico talk to me about the theme... we need to fix that. Will also look into VB4, but no concrete promises, since I still don't see the need for it just yet.

Oh and remember to let me/ico know of any existing bugs...

Well last few days I wasn't able to access TDF (on BSNL broadband) and today I thought there's something wrong. I tried proxyip and it opened! So, after being a regular member after so many years, TDF suddenly becomes inaccessible to me? Well i also see the new sign "we are shifted to new server". Could this be the issue? Can it be solved? I'd really like to be able to access this forum without proxy.

Change your DNS servers to these 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

Increasing characters in siggy can really help. The theme is okay and light.

It works faster than before. But theme needs a change. Its kinda old and boring please change if you can. Well I am not going anywhere even if you don't change theme. Love this forum very active and most importantly helpful. Members are friendly even to a new one like me.

Update - It opened with proxy browsing today (almost after 10 days maybe)! Hope it stays this way.
