New way of spam in Thinkdigit - Have a look

This is the new (innovative) way of spamming.

Please have a look at these threads.

All these guys are same.

First the guy will post a question, then after 1-2 days later, he will make a new id and will start promoting a site / product

See, first I went wrong in the thread 1 and suggested something, thinking its genuine, in second thread, I guessed it and it was right.

Mods, please delete those two threads

This is just to warn other members and to stay away from such threads, but if it is not needed, feel free to delete this thread as well.

Yeah we suggested some counter measures lately but no action was taken.
It seem we hav to live with it.

Nice investigation din... It should have been posted in tech news - "Spammers find new innovative ways to spam"

may be not if the mods are super quick and delete these threads the moment they pops up!!!!

I've not deleted the threads only removed the links as people have posted some comments which might be helpful for others. Banned four of these already .. Keep reporting if you find more. ..

Yesterday noticed your thread saying "Three exclamation remind me something", now I got what you meant by that.

Anyways can there me a dedicated sticky thread for posting links to Spam threads, so mods will be at ease deleting them?

If i were a spam mod creator i would have given an introduction post like hi i am ____ ..
then after one day i would have posted the spam not in different font...
I dunno why they use fonts... why not normal text....

Thats because they may be copy-pasting it esp from the MC wordpad file.

I will search for forums PR4 and above and spam there

lol. Even that happened in my website. One day someone posted a query and I was about to reply, I found someone else has replied him with a link. I found both had same IP address.

Dear digitianz can u forgive me, Actually the first time I joined this Forum, My UserName is 'ArunSmartKid' - if anyone can remember, I promise you that was the first time I was registering for a Forum after getting my first e-mail ID, After joining the Forum, I thought of advertising my blog out here (Actually I didn't know that was Spamming ) I just that any user will visit my blog when I post in digit Forum, then even after a couple of warning from digitianz I didn't understand what was happening! The next time I got Username 'Digit Donz' ( different from the current username ) and again banned. You know I felt too bad for ignoring me from digit forum - I had even actually wept, if u can believe :cry:

. And the next time I registered as 'Digit Donz' and now I quiet feeling happy now - Also I have faced a problem for copy pasting other blog post to mine, I just thought who will know!!! - But caught for that and now I am writing my own post in my blog...

You know why am posting this.. All the above feelings and happiness happened to me b'coz of ye digit guys, thank you for making me understand of spamming by banning my 2 user accounts - And pls mods don't ban me again for making three users, I am doing well now and I love to be in this forum.. till the end of my life..
