i have a system with dual boot, Windows 2000 professional (SP4) and Windows XP Home Edition (SP2). i have Norton Internet Security 2005 installed on both the operating systems with the latest liveupdates patched and virus definitions. i have a slow connection n it has taken ages to download the updates.

is there some way that i can back up these updates so that the next time i re-install the OS n the other softwares including NIS 2005, i don't have to download the updates; just install / update NIS 2005 from the backup.
