He has some days to decide as Flipkart has given him some time to decide. Please advice. His Budget is Rs.20000 max.Hope to get interesting replies soon.Thank You.

Mi A2 is supposed to come with stock Android as UI. You can check the reviews on YouTube before deciding whether it's a good buy over RN5 Pro.

PS : Mi A2 already launched in China

Here is the Filled questionnaire :

1. Budget? : Maximum Rs.20000/- : Less is better.

2. Display type and size? : Full HD+ atleast 5.99" : Bigger the Better : P20 is a exception here.

3. Dual sim? : Yes

4. Preferred choice of brand? : MI, ASUS, HUAWEI : No Samsung, No Oppo, No Vivo

5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera)? : Front Facing Camera with Flash and Rear Camera should be good.

6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, etc). : No Doubt : Android

7. Preferred connectivity options (3G, 4G ready). : 4G. Is anything better than 4G?

8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)? : Multimedia, Camera, Internet. Gaming : not too much.

9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? : Redmi Note 5 Pro, MI A2, Huawei P20, Asus Zenfone 5 Series like Zenfone 5 Lite or Zenfone 5.

10. Any other info that you want to share : Is it now worth to buy Redmi Note 5 pro?, as more and more Phones are coming in the Indian Market in next some time as I have already asked this question.

The waiting game is something which will go on & on.

RN5 Pro is still a good choice even with the launch of Asus Zenphone Max Pro M1. If your friend likes stock android, get Asus M1, it is a good phone too. Mi A2 will be priced above these 2 phones, has a better SoC, better rear camera (better front compared to Asus), USB type C but has inferior battery capacity & lacks a 3.5mm jack.

I would say getting Asus/RN5 Pro isn't a bad choice as most people don't need that extra performance & their cameras are good enough. If the rear camera is the top priority, waiting for A2 might be a good option (but do remember its cons).

What about Moto X4? The brand is good, phone quality is premium (all glass), nice display (amoled full HD) and camera and there are multiple offers going on in amazon.
However, the screen size is smaller than your expectation, but still its worth a look.

Moto phones are not a good option anymore.
