Well guys i have a problem in my dvd player too (after my comp)...its Sony DAV DZ120k.
now the thing is that the player is not reading certain discs. i have a Shrek DVD which used to play earlier but now its not playing. and more recently i bought Transporter which is also not playing. it just says "reading" nothing else happens. while these dvds are working in my comp and at my frnds place.
a frnd of mine told me that it maybe a problem due to DVD region code. and these 2 dvds have a region code 3. but i have other region 3 dvds which still play in the player.
