Ever since I updated my nVIDIA graphics card's driver from 56.72 to 61.77 and then to 66.93, AirXonix v1.36 (an arcade game) is showing texture corruption galore, making it unplayable. Downgrading to release 55 drivers solve the graphics problem, but since then the sound in the game has gone awry with excessive echos etc. Even uninstalling and reinstalling the game changes nothing.

Actually my mother really loves to play this game, so I'll be very grateful if anybody comes up with a proper solution. Here's my machine spec:

P4 willamette 1.6 GHz
256 PC600 RDRAM
Intel D850MV mobo
XFX geforce 4MX-SE AGP 4X card 64MB
onboard soundmax sound

Same here.

The CMR3 freezes momentarily now and then, and is really irritating.

Well Kannan, ever since I have installed the version 56.72 drivers the same problem has occurred to me in CMR'04 and UT2004 also.

The funny part is that the demo in both the cases were running fine. Its the retail version that's causing problems.

UT2004 now seems to be OK although sometimes freezing do occur.

God knows what's going on.

I think we should switch to Pirated versions instead of buying the originals.
